Economic Debates

 ECONOMIC POLICY DEBATES
 

Thanks to Prof. John Kane, SUNY-Oswego University, there is a collection for economic debates online to access for the class.  Each student will be assigned to a debate topic(s) during each term for an in-class debate during long block.  Use this page to access the assigned policy debate reading(s) for which you are scheduled.  Debate issues are organized by the disipline they relate to:  Economic Fundamentals, Microeconomic, Macroeconomics, & World Economy.  

 

How to access Economic Policy Debates

1. Click on the link below to access the ECON.DEBATE ONLINE site and then click on the appropriate debate subcategory (ie. supply and demand, monopoly, etc) under one of the four economic disciplines.  

2. Once you have clicked on the subcategory, a list of all that category's debates are presented in a table.  Select the debate were assigned in class by clicking FULL DEBATE.
